Awards 2026 Young Activist Scholarship
Recognizing the need to encourage younger people to become involved in motorcyclists’ rights, the Motorcycle Riders Foundation Awareness and Education (MRFA&E) has created a scholarship fund to recognize deserving candidates who are a minimum of 18 years old and not over 30 years of age who otherwise may not be able to attend the MRF’s Meeting of the Minds conference.

Selected For 2026 Scholarship
Matt Andersen is a lifelong motorcyclist from Earling, Iowa, whose passion for riding began at age four (4) and continues to shape his life alongside his family. In recent years, he has become an active advocate for motorcyclists’ rights through his work with ABATE of Iowa and the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, participating in anti-profiling efforts and engaging with lawmakers at both state and federal levels. Driven by a commitment to preserve riding freedoms for future generations, including his young son, he remains dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of motorcyclists.
