I've been snowmobiling some but most of the time we don't have enough snow to make it worth having one. I do spend alot of time on 4 wheelers though. Good year round fun.

Some of the best riding in Wisconsin is the "Kettle Moraine" area. This would be west of Madison & just northwest of Janesville.

SE Mn in the bluff country will give you all the valleys and curves and hills you can ride. NE Mn will give you ridges and curves and woods.
I live in the Blackhills of South Dakota, and there are miles of beautiful riding here, lots of camping and beautiful sites to see!!!
I'm in NE Indiana, and one of my favorite areas is Wabash County. Lots of history and beautiful scenery. Only an hour from FTW. Also, between FTW and Columbia City there are some nice roads. These rides are shorter but great for anything from 30 minutes to a couple of hours.
The western edge of Iowa isn't to bad. Some nice low hills and bluffs. Pretty much along the river.
Do a Google search on "Loess Hills" and see some photos.
I have to agree w/ bikersalesrep. Wisconsin Kettle Moraine area. Had my bike blessed yesterday and the 300 of us, sheriff escorted to Kettle Moraine area. also in fall check out Tomahawk Run up north in Wisconsin.
lots of great riding in NoDak wide-open spaces and lots of great small towns and no need to lock your bike basically no crime.

I am from Saskatchewan Canada, and I love to ride the the northern US states. I love Montana, ND, SD and plan on trying MN this season. The badlands of ND are very cool I hit them every year on my way down to Sturgis. I really liked the Fort Peck area in Montana also.
