  I'd take that sign down.
  "Beware of dog" signs can be used against you if your dog bites someone. It implies that you are aware that you have a dangerous animal on the property.(according to my insurance company)
  I imagine a lawyer on the dead trespassers (if it turned out that way) side could convince a jury of premeditation and the fact that you just wanted to kill someone .
  That poor dead guy was just taking an innocent shortcut and this crazy guy came out firing!.

  I have a dozen pistols, none of them are wheel guns. I might have to do something about that. The last couple times I went shopping for a revolver, there was a semi auto pistol on sale that I just had to have.
